Classy As Fuck

Always & Forever Tattoo Studio is my Private Tattoo Sanctuary and you may just call me Holly. I officially opened the doors on May 1, 2011, becoming the first tattoo shop in Watertown, a small town located just outside of Boston, MA. I have strived to make an environment that is creative and comfortable for both clients and artists alike. The evolution of this studio has at times been natural and other times forced, but I am proud of where it is today and even more proud of where it's going.

I've had a passion for tattooing since I was a kid; there is nothing better than bike week for this girl! I was always drawing on myself and the other kids sitting next to me in school, waiting for the day I could get my first. With my 20+ years of experience and focus on tattooing, I love the process of collaborating with every client to help bring their ideas to life and tailoring each tattoo design to fit each individual's body best. I keep a sharp eye on the overall concept, design, and how it flows with the body; TOGETHERwe work to elevate your ideas to the next level. TOGETHER, we will make something that will show your life, the life you are living, celebrating who you are, and your pride in your skin! Although my specialty is large-scale tattoos, I enjoy working on medium and smaller tattoos when I am able. Above all, my desire and focus are to make sure the end product is a tattoo you'll love more than you could imagine, and your experience while in the studio is one that you'll look forward to each session! "Tattoo day is the best day!!"

I also love the variety of styles that tattooing offers has led me to work proficiently in many different techniques and with many other clients. Traditional American, photo-realistic black and gray, illustrative fine-line colorwork, cover-ups are a majority of the tattoo styles in my portfolio. Based on some wise words my mentor, Little John, said to me early on, I decided not to specialize in one style of tattooing. Despite many humans pushing me and an evolution in the world of tattooing itself, I stayed true to my belief and instincts. I remained focused on my work with my large-scale tattoo clients and created a consultation process and studio environment that I thought worked better for the clients and myself.

If you also didn't know, I love cats. Like, really love cats!! Another passion since I was a child, rescuing animals and cats, is just in me. Having such a bond with the "harder to place cats," I became a foster mom for Black Cat Rescue and M.S.P.C.A.; I found a lot of benefits to my mental health and overall life by being able to help these cats until they found their new family. Then when life forced me to pause fostering to deal with an immeasurable amount of grief and coping with past and present C-PTSD, my cats were all I had left to keep me going. Then in 2021, with the additional diagnosis of A.D.H.D. and four bottle baby kittens I didn't see coming, I said, "Fuck It!". I decided to pursue an old dream with new inspiration and purpose. Lucky Cats Rescue is my new non-profit endeavor, and with the combined power of "Tats & Cats," we aim to make a difference for cats and humans who love them and need them just as much.
